On the afternoon of this Monday, 7/3/2023, Ambassador Júlio Maiato held a working meeting with Tamer Al Qudah, Executive Director of FAB (First Abu Dhabi Bank), within the framework of strengthening institutional cooperation ties. FAB, headquartered in Abu Dhabi, the political and administrative capital of the United Arab Emirates, is the largest commercial bank in the Middle East. It was formed in April 2017 as a result of a merger between First Gulf Bank (FGB) and National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD). The First Gulf Bank (FGB) was founded in 1979, and was the third largest by assets in the UAE, while the National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) created in 1968 by a decree of the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, then ruler of Abu Dhabi.
